We’re pleased to welcome Russ Thornton, an Atlanta, Georgia-based advisor with 30 years of experience, to TVAMP as a shareholder and Wealth Advisor. Russ brings a personal approach to helping people plan for what matters to them.
Russ has been running his own advisory practice since 2009. For the last 20 years, his work has centered on women planning for and living in retirement. He’ll continue that focus at TVAMP, bringing the same steady presence, thoughtful listening, and commitment to putting clients’ goals first.

For Russ, joining TVAMP is about supporting the relationships he has spent years building.
Our dedicated support team will allow him to spend less time on administrative responsibilities and more time on planning and meaningful conversations with clients. Just as important, joining TVAMP provides a plan for those clients’ continued care.
As Russ shared in his own announcement, he wanted a clear answer to a deeply personal question: “What happens to you if something happens to me?”
He assured his clients he has no plans to retire. This move is about looking ahead and making sure they have a team they can turn to for years to come.
