What you pay, and what you get
You should understand what you’re paying for before you ever sit down with us.
Here is how our fee works, what it covers, and what it doesn’t. Our fee is a percentage of the assets we manage, so it moves with your portfolio, up and down.

We work with clients across America
*On April 15, 2026, TVAMP was recognized as one of the “Best Financial Advisory Firms 2026” by USA Today and Statista Inc. The award is based on data and methodology developed by Statista Inc. evaluated through January 2026, including AUM growth over the 12 months from January 2025 – January 2026 and longer-term growth from 2021 – 2026. The firm did not pay a fee to be considered for or receive this award; however, it pays a licensing fee to use related promotional materials. Criteria may not be directly related to the quality of investment advice provided. If you’re curious, the full methodology can be found here.

How your fee is determined: Your exact rate depends on your total assets under management, the complexity of your financial situation, and the scope of services required. Fees are agreed upon in writing before we begin. Maximum allowable fee is 2% annually. Fees are billed quarterly and do not include custodial account fees your brokerage may charge. Tax preparation through TVAMP Tax Planning, LLC is optional and quoted separately in writing before you decide; if you choose it, we can include it in your quarterly advisory fee. Please review our ADV, Important Disclosures, and Form CRS for full details.
Your tax preparer and your planner already know each other
Too often, a tax return is prepared by someone who has never seen the financial plan, and a financial plan is built by someone who has never seen the tax return.
TVAMP Tax Planning, LLC, an affiliate of TVAMP, exists to close that gap. If you’d like us to prepare your returns, your planner and your preparer work from the same picture, so decisions like selling a business, exercising stock options, or taking a large distribution can be considered with taxes in view before they’re made, rather than discovered at filing time.
Tax preparation is optional. If you have a CPA you trust, we’ll work with them.
Common Questions
Pricing FAQ
Answers to the questions we hear most often about how our fees work.
What’s the minimum to work with TVAMP?
We provide the most value to clients who have $500,000 or more in investable assets. This allows us to deliver the full scope of financial planning and investment management.
How exactly do I find out what my fee will be?
We’ll walk you through it on an intro call. Your rate depends on your total assets under management, the complexity of your situation, and the scope of services you need — and it’s agreed in writing before we begin.
Are there any other fees beyond the advisory fee?
Your advisory fee is what you pay TVAMP for planning and investment management. If you add tax preparation through TVAMP Tax Planning, that is an additional fee, quoted in writing up front. Your custodian (the brokerage where your assets are held) may also charge account maintenance or transaction fees, and we’ll walk you through those before you sign anything.
How is the fee billed?
Fees are billed quarterly, directly from your investment account. You’ll see it as a line item on your custodian statement. There’s no separate invoice or wire transfer required.
Does my fee include tax preparation?
Not by default. Your plan includes tax planning, which means thinking through how decisions may affect your taxes. Preparing and filing your returns is a separate service provided by TVAMP Tax Planning, LLC, an affiliate of TVAMP. If you’d like it, the fee is quoted in writing before you decide, and we can fold it into your quarterly advisory fee so there is one fee to follow. It’s entirely optional, and we’re glad to work with your current CPA instead.
